Top Ten Tuesday: Extraordinary Book Titles

Happy Top Ten Tuesday, everyone! This week we’re back with extraordinary book titles. As usual, thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl for hosting this, and check out her page if you want to participate as well! Let’s jump in.

The Darkling Bride by Laura Andersen: Something about this title, especially paired with the cover art, is so intriguing and really captivating!

The Magical World of Madame Metier by Daphne Rose Kingma: Similarly to the first one, this title itself evokes such a magical and ethereal feeling even without knowing too much about the plot.

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Sliverstein: This is one I’ve frequently thought about since my childhood, because the idea of the sidewalk ending was unfathomable. The end of the sidewalk holds a similar place in my mind as the end of a rainbow.

Cinco de Murder by Rebecca Adler: I am not a fan of cozy mysteries, which is not news for frequent readers, but I must admit, they have some of the BEST titles for a pun-lover like myself. This one was just too fun to pass up, so I eventually bought it with my Barnes and Noble bookseller discount aaand… ended up DNF-ing it. But that title!

When Life Gives You Lululemons by Lauren Weisberger: One of my dear friends and I always joke about the recent explosion of “athleisure” as a clothing style, and the first time I saw this book I could not help but be reminded of that! I honestly have no idea what this book is about, but I think the title sure is witty!

What titles do you love? Did/does the book live up to it’s title? Let me know below!

As always, thanks for stopping by, and happy reading!

Xx.
