Six for Sunday: Books With Leaves on the Cover

I am back for my second week of the Six for Sunday tag hosted on A Little But A Lot! Today’s prompt is books with leaves on the cover, and something tells me this one might be a challenge, so let’s go!

The House of Broken Angels, Luis Alberto Urrea

A description of a family’s emotional days preceding the imminent loss of their patriarch.

Mothers and Other Strangers, Gina Sorell

After her mother’s death, our main character follows leads and hints to discover the life her secretive, deceptive mother truly lived.

The Ensemble, Aja Gabel

The travels, relationships, successes, and trials of a prominent string quartet. The reader follows each of the players both in their professional and personal lives.

A Cloud in the Shape of a Girl, Jean Thompson

The story of three generations of women and their varying lives, expectations, and duties in their small Midwestern town.

The Immortalists, Chloe Benjamin

A haunting tale of siblings who see a psychic in their youth and learn the dates they each will die.

A Fall of Marigolds, Susan Meissner

The story of how an artisan scarf travels through the ages connecting two women of different eras and lifestyles.

This was such a fun, autumnal prompt, and I’m very impressed that I was able to draw six of these from books I’ve read in the last year and a half! Can you think of any books with leaves on them off the top of your head? Let me know below 🙂

Xx.
